Okay, I can’t confirm that “Warm Leatherette” was playing the very first time I tuned into CFNY…but—according to my (admittedly faulty) memory—it was at least close to the first.
When you had grown used to “Stairway” and “Hey Jude”…and suddenly you dial in a station where they’re playing THIS????
Well, you just know your world is expanding.
